Website Redesign

A redesigned, revived website from New Prodigy can be the key to invigorating your business.

If you already have a website you may have come to the realization that it's time for an overhaul; time to convert your website into something that reflects the professionalism and culture of your business, is aesthetically pleasing to your visitors, and actually wins new business.

If you need a redesign then take a look at the websites of your competition to see how you stack up. If your website falls short in any of the following areas then it's time for a re-design:

  • Design Quality » Should look professional, clean, uncluttered: If it's between your ugly website, and your competitors awesome looking website, then it doesn't matter how good your products or services are, the potential new customer won't waste time on your site.
  • Ease of Navigation » Should be able to find what you're looking for quickly: You have 8 seconds to convey the who, what, why, and how of your business or the visitor moves on. Make sure they can find this information quickly.
  • Quality of Content » Should be current and credible: The #1 mistake you can make is having outdated content on your website. If someone calls your business they should be told the same thing they just read on your website.
  • E-commerce Integration » If appropriate, you should be able to purchase products online securely: If you can offer your customers product purchasing then do it. It's not always possible for service-based businesses, but often it is for product-based businesses.

  • Downloadable Content » Should be able to download sales and product brochures or other free resources: If you have product brochures or sales literature then make them available on your website. Customers want all the information they can get before talking to you.
  • Client Areas » Offer enhanced functionality if possible: If you can offer your customers enhanced functionality through your website such as order tracking, order history, or members-only content, then do so. This will keep your customers entrenched in your business.
  • Social Media » Do you have a Facebook business page Twitter account, business blog, or electronic newsletter?: If not and your competition does, then they are actively marketing their business which means they are getting your business.

If your competitors are out-pacing you on any of these fronts, it's time for a re-design from New Prodigy.
